The Problem

What We're Facing

In America it is apparent,  social and economic barriers are still amongst us. The opportunities made available in the Black community are moving at a plodding pace. Across America’s leading revenue industries, the percentage of those being Black-owned are atrocious. We as a people have amassed a buying power of over a trillion dollars annually. Unfortunately, we’re putting less than 10% of that back into our economy. In return, our businesses are failing, our neighborhoods are suffering, and are children are becoming closed-minded to their potential greatness.

Our Solution

Requires Action and Unity

Our Own LLC. is a Black communalist platform focused on the education & development of Black businesses. Through community crowdfunding, we intend to allocate our contributions into programs directed toward teaching young Black men and women the necessary tools to small business ownership. We also provide start-up funding to businesses across select fields who meet our companies investment requirements. Once established, we’ll use our return-on-investments to put toward future business start-ups. By building and supporting Black businesses, we can create new career opportunities and help strengthen the Black economy.

If you wake up deciding what you want to give versus what you’re going to get, you become a more successful person. In other words, if you want to make money, you have to help someone else make money.” – Russell Simmons
